Regional Seat of Government?

Weedon Barracks were constructed in 1803 as a place to which the Royal Family could escape should there be a French invasion. In the 1950's it was appointed the seat of regional government in the event of a nuclear attack. Now all traces of what used to be in that location have now vanished. A modern housing estate and storehouse have now replaced the Royal Pavillions and the barracks for the soldiers.
